Yes, absolutely! I use my Pioneer stereo receiver, rated at 30 watts per channel, and it has little trouble filling up my room with sound. You will notice some diminished bass frequency response from these speakers. Get a subwoofer, if you want to hear the lower audio frequencies.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can. These speakers are 8 Ohm and of course will handle 32 Watt RMS.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but it won't put alot of power
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but it won't put out a lot of power
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you could power those speakers with an old transistor radio too but why would you? If you're only getting 32 watts to the speakers on max, you're wasting your money. Better to drop a few bucks on a modern digital amp with say 100 watt. Remember the golden stereo rule,,, speakers can not make up for a lack of amp, ain't happinin. Give the old dinosaur to your brother-in-law.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.32 watts a channel would not be enough to push the R820’s to their potential especially with big 8” woofers. With a continuous power rating of 150 watts, a receiver capable of around 100 watts a channel continuous at 8ohm or close to it would push them to where they can really shine.
