A:AnswerThere actually is no keyhole on the back. For some reason, Best Buy decided to put pictures of different speakers in for the imaging of the R-51.
A:AnswerDon’t have the bass of a larger speaker but very good bass for their size. No harshness on top end if broadcast quality is good. Kind of a silky smooth sounding highs.
A:AnswerHello Preorder:
A receiver's RMS rating is supposed to be set against a "standard" and is an indicator of how much "clean" power a receiver can deliver to speakers at a certain resistance (OHM rating, 8 Ohms for example), and with the proper gage wiring and distance, etc..... You typically hit the "peak" power draw on the lower BASS response. So the lower tones generated by your music source and the higher the volume, the more power it takes to drive your speakers. To be clear, the 140W RMS receiver and the 85W RMS speakers need to be compared at the same resistance, so for example if these are both rated at 8 ohms, then what this means is you would be fine to use these speakers at volumes near 70% of what the rated output is for your receiver. So don't turn it up all the way, or you may run the chance of damaging these speakers. You should NOT turn it up all the way in any case because when you do, the receiver begins to deliver more "noise" distortion in the signal and that can potentially damage ANY speaker. Keep it at a decent volume under 70% and you should be able to enjoy these together just fine.
A:AnswerThe answer is yes and no. They have a rear port on them so you can’t flush mount them; it would cause the speakers to sound terrible. You can however use a swivel mount to mount these. I’ll attach a link and picture so you can see how they work. These do not come with keyholes on them anymore .

A:AnswerMuch depends on your budget and what you are willing to spend on an a/v receiver/amplifier. There are quite a few good AV receiver brands today. Review the offerings from Yamaha, Denon, Sony, and Marantz. I prefer a Marantz A/V Receivers although they are expensive. You get what you pay for. With the current ongoing sales, you can find good multi channel A/V receivers for less than $300. Yamaha and Sony come to mind for budget priced amps. If you go to inexpensive you may find yourself upgrading very soon. 50 years of experience with many thousands of dollars spent.
A:AnswerYes. The magnets in speakers could affect the stream of ions creating the picture on the old cathode Ray tube type TVs ( those heavy glass ones) but won't affect flat screen TV at all
A:AnswerYes indeed. I am using a similar receiver as well for 5.1 and works like a charm. These are very efficient & don’t require much power. Good luck.
A:AnswerOrienting the R-51M on it's side will not affect the sound quality or acoustic properties, as this speaker features a 90X90 degree Tractrix horn.
A:AnswerWhile Klipsch cannot recommend amplifiers or receivers, we do recommend finding an amp with a power rating as close to 85W per channel into 8 ohms as you can. Anything less than 75W per channel or more than 170W per channel could cause damage to the speakers.
A:AnswerMy only comment is that just about any major brand name speaker will sound better than built in speakers on a television. However, other costs will come
with the much improved sound. Meaning you will have to provide power and a brain component such as receiver and or separates and turn off your tv speakers.
So you may prefer to just enjoy your wonderful picture since OLED is the best thing since plasma (Kuro) of a foregone era.
A:AnswerNo ... Just the bookshelf speakers but you can add a sub as long as you have a separate output for it on / in your power source amp or receiver.
A:AnswerNo wire included. Use at least 16 gauge with polarity indicator; I am using Rocketfish/Best Buy speaker wire.
No connectors- speakers have red & black screw down terminals to secure stripped wire and to insure polarity/phasing
A:AnswerThat amp should power those speakers nicely. They are very efficient at 93 dB measured with 1 watt @ 1 meter. They are 8 ohm nominal speakers so your amp should easily be able to provide 50 watts with that load. They should be very loud at 2 or more watts amplifier output.
A:AnswerMost computers include Advanced software that features an equalizer. In my case, since these are really home theater speakers, I use a receiver. It connects to my computer through HDMI just like it would on your TV. This allows the processing and the tuning of the audio to happen on the receiver instead of the computer. If you don't have dedicated software with an equalizer, Windows 10 does have some basic functions to control treble and bass. These speaker will not connect directly to your PC. You will need some kind of amp or receiver to push the audio to it.
A:AnswerI use 16 gauge speaker wire on mine. They are less than 10 ft apart - this gauge is good up to about 50 ft. If you're going 50-100 ft., they say 14 gauge would be better.
A:AnswerThese speakers connect to your stereo or receiver output.
You can sometimes connect your phone or computer to a stereo using the correct wires.
Otherwise look for speakers that contain their own amplifier and have Bluetooth connectivity to your iPhone or computer.
