Don’t have the bass of a larger speaker but very good bass for their size. No harshness on top end if broadcast quality is good. Kind of a silky smooth sounding highs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Decent bass, but nothing to write home about, I would recommend running a sub... These will play loud, without distortion or harshness, I pounded them and they never flinched. I ran them on the SVS SoundBase 300w amp, 150w per channel x 2 with 12 ga speaker cable, music was from Tidal streamed from my iPhone. They never missed a beat. Where they really shine is low to moderate volume, the annoying Klipsch brightness is not found in these, they are a very smooth speaker with very good range, they envelope the room. For the money, these are an incredible bargain. I am keeping mine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.to me these speakers, have a wonderful mid-range, and the highs, clear and crisp, and I'm running a Sony amp putting out 1200watts. very good over all .....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will like them more with a subwoofer, though I would recommend a 10 in over a 12 inch sub. I purchased these with the R120 sub and found I couldn't quite balance them to my liking. I suspect there is a frequency "hole" between the 12" sub and these, No adjustment seemed to help. The R-620 speakers went on sale and I bought a pair, put them in front with the sub, and moved these to the back. The sound is AMAZING.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have a quality subwoofer, which is highly recommended, you can adjust the bass level to fit your needs. Everyone's opinion on sound quality is different
