Try to connect a different speaker to the same source? Does it sound ok? Is so, then you have defective speaker.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.These are good quality speakers. That said I don't know what amplifier you are running them through. A weak amplifier will produce a weak sound. You didn't mention if both speakers sound muffled or only one. My best suggestion would be to collect your amplifier specs and how you are connecting everything to Best Buy. They can advise you best where you stand. It's always good to take photos so they can see if you have everything connected correctly. Hope this helps.
