• Yes it is the sound of the sound bar my tv is 50 inch it is almost as long as my tv

• I believe its just the length of the soundbar alone. The sub woofer is about 16× 14( estimate*)

• The soundbar is ~40" long and not 49 as indicated on BB website. That's why I returned mine.
