If the recipient has a compatible device to the lock, they must download the Kevo app. Set up a Kevo account using their own email address and password. Then the owner sends the ekey to the email address that the recipient set the account up with.

If you have the Kevo+, you have an unlimited number of e-keys, & you can simply revoke a key when it's no longer needed by the other person. Keep in mind, they will have to download the Kevo app in order to use an e-key.

You only get two E-keys when you purchase and without upgrading to the plus program, you have to pay a few bucks for any other E-keys. I think that you can issue temp keys for 24 hours but if you go to their website I know all the information is there.
