Can you add a monitor? I work from home at times and I have to have two monitors to efficiently do my job. I can hook an additional monitor to my current laptop. Can you hook up an additional monitor to this laptop?

I do the same thing. It has the standard 9 pin connector. But it only has one monitor connection so the laptop screen will have to be the second one. And it doesn't have an HDMI port so it's low res.

Yes. There is a VGA connector on the side of the laptop to support an external monitor connection. Hotkeys on the laptop allow one to switch between display on either the external or built-in screen.
