Is the hard drive upgradeable? null

Yes, it is upgradeable. Immediately after I purchased the laptop I replaced the 5400 RPM hard drive with a Solid State Drive and now the computer starts up immediately. It's a worthwhile upgrade local tech shops can do if you are not knowledgeable about how to do that.

This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. Your certified technician can replace the existing hard drive with a compatible replacement.

If you need additional storage, you could always purchase a portable external hard drive. Of course it would utilize one of the USB ports, and be an extra piece you would have to carry around.
