• I am confused by the response of the Lenovo expert below about backwards compatible. Does this mean the laptop will pick up the faster 5g speed or will it chose the 2.4g and be just as fast as the 5g? My 5g from AT&T gets 300+ and my 2.4g only gets 50-60. That is why I ask. A: This system has 802.11AC WiFi capability. It is backward compatible to the older frequencies of b/g/n. It will be at the 2.4GHz speed with these older frequencies.
