“I have a few questions. Is the casing/surface made of metal or plastic? Are the keys plastic or rubber-like texture? And how do the speakers sound considering they are on the bottom of the laptop - clear/muffled/loud enough/not loud enough?”

The case of this system is plastic. The keyboard keys are plastic. With regard to the speakers, there are two stereo 1.5W speakers and Dolby Audio sound enhancement. The speakers are on the bottom front of the device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Casing is plastic as well as the keys. The speaker is a bit less than I had hoped, but I use either Bluetooth earphones or corded headphones, depending. I’d have to say not loud enough for my hearing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The outside casing feels like plastic. The keys are more plastic than rubber. The speakers are loud enough. I haven't had an issue with muffled sound, however, I do not use this laptop for music, but for school lectures and things of that nature.
