• 1 TB 7200 RPM Maxtor hybrid HD w/ 8 gig SSD. Very quiet. Lenovo configured this computer right. 34 secs from pushing the button on - to login screen. 84 secs after logging in to complete boot which includes a 2nd HD, AVG Anti-virus, and having installed a lot of programs. That's fast. If anything, it takes longer to shut down, then it does to boot up. Very pleased with this computer.

• The hybrid hard drive is 7200 while the 1TB is 5400.
