I had this desktop for about 7 months now, still haven't used all the features however I really like it! The Windows 10 and it's apps is taking some time to learn but no problems so far! The graphics are good, even better after I got an adapter to connect my monitor from the HDMI port to DVI port on my monitor instead of the VGA to VGA port. I don't do gaming though, just watch videos and play card type games. It's a very fast computer and so far no crashes or hang-ups. No problems playing or burning CD's either. Haven't watched a DVD on it yet, didn't really buy it for that purpose though. I didn't use the keyboard that came with it cause I have one the keys light up on so I can see them better.

I bought it for gaming. I had some problems at the start by the PSU. Now I use the computer with 2 PSU, one for the video card (GTX 1070) and stock psu for the rest. I changed the hard drive for an SSD. For me it is very good and works well.

    Fast and quiet.

Nice computer. Pleasant appearance and finishing touches. Extremely quiet. Much, much nicer than the Dell XPS line. If just looks and feels well made. Surprisingly quick in routine tasks. Now for the annoying part. Best Buy's product descriptions declare that this PC has DVI and Display Port out. It does not. It only has VGA and HDMI. I specifically wanted Display Port to ensure that it would support a 4K display. I had to assume the Video Card would support 4K since no one in the store could tell me. Trying to research this on Lenovo's website was a dead end. The card manufacturer declares that the card can support 3840x2160 at 60HZ only over Display Port, (Which the card does not possess). It also goes on to say the card will support 3840x2160 at 30HZ or 4096x2160 at 24HZ over an HDMI connection. http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt-730/specifications Since this is a late 2015 production model I had expected more. I expected Display Port as promised and I had hoped it would support a 4K monitor. Or at least be able to get clear communication as to what it could and could not support. Today it's powering a Dell P2416D 2560x1440 monitor with excellent results. Although when the same monitor is hooked up to the video card with the VGA connection the best speed I can get out of the card is 2048x1152. I do not play video games so I don't need very much of a video card to power my needs. I did however want a card that could support a 4K monitor at 60HZ and this one can't. By the way. The new Dell monitor shipped with a Display Port cable which I could not use. Come on Lenovo! It's 2016! If a new 21.5 " I-Mac can support a 4 k monitor with integrated graphics then it should have been a cup cake walk for this computer to do the same thing! Outside of this one issue it's an outstanding machine and a real pleasure to operate.

    Modern Machine!

This is a modern Windows 10 Desktop with the latest Intel i5 "skylake" 6400 processor. It is finished in a "brushed" dark gray with plastic chrome accents...looks very sleek and elegant. It starts really fast and runs virtually silent. I bought this machine due to it's multitasking ability. We can have 10 web browsers open, streaming netflix, email, playing games, etc. all at the same time and nothing so far has slowed it down. For every day household use and kids using it for playing games, I can't imagine a better computer for the money. The memory is also expandable to 16gb if you need it. The graphics card is pretty good actually. Our monitor only has VGA and DVI connections and this machine does not have a "DVI" connection only VGA and HDMI connections for both the graphics card and built in intel graphics. This machine also has a DVD/CD burner optical drive that we have not used yet but will come in handy no doubt in the future. There is also a SD/SDHC Memory card reader and the microphone/headphone jacks on the top front of the machine for easy access and use in addition to 2 USB type 3 connections located beside them. On the back you have the power and ethernet connections, VGA and HDMI, Audio, Graphics Card VGA & HDMI, 2- 2.0 USB and 2- 3.0 connectors. We have had this computer for a month now with absolutely NO hiccups, problems what-so-ever. Word of advice, be sure when you first turn the machine on and go thru the set up process, IMMEDIATELY run "Windows Update" (left click start button lower left bottom then left click "settings" then "update and security" then "check for updates" ..windows 10 is pretty easy to use once you learn it) to update everything and you will be all set to enjoy your new computer! Enjoy your new Lenovo!

It sounds like there was an automatic Windows update after you updated the drivers. You can follow the link below to Lenovo.com support-drivers to look for any driver updates for your specific system. Be sure you create a restore point on your system before you make any changes to your system or download any new software. Consider changing your update settings from automatic to Alert You First. That way you will have an opportunity to create restore point before any updates. Here's the link and I hope it helps:

My laptop pretty much died after 5 wonderful years of being together. I spent $125.00 on repairs and decided that it was enough, plus over 10 days of fretting and not being able to game. I had lost the USB to my mouse and went into buy another one and looked around at computers. To make a long story short, I left with a mouse, and not a computer and got home and said phooey, and went back and bought one when my laptop was still running hot. To be honest, I was iffy about buying this computer because , it is not what I wanted, but it is what I could afford. I am still trying to talk myself into it, even though I know I will keep it. I guess when it comes to electronics, I always want the latest and greatest., but my pocketbook says differently. I play World of Warcraft and some other MMO's and I really wanted a nice gaming laptop. The saleslady assured me this would run fine for WoW even though I probably could not raid on Ultra, She said I had 15 days to try it out and return it if I was not satisfied. This was a sales person who knew what she was talking about because she had just built her own system and she played MMO's. She helped my confidence level in what I was purchasing. The setup was easy and there was not a lot of updates to do at all. WoW downloaded twice as fast on this desktop as it did on my laptop. I had a Dell XPS I5 with a GT 540M Nivida Card. I honestly thought this whole time I had a GTX Nivida card on it. Oh well.. This desktop does just fine for WoW, if you are not looking for an expensive gaming computer. I get 30 fps in my garrison and sometimes it would pop up to about 76 fps. I ran a LFR today and it played just fine, with over 44 fps. there was no lag at all. I also like the case on this desktop. It is a large case but it looks great. It also has a handle which you can use to carry it around with. It runs quiet, so quiet that I don't even realize it is on. I was also impressed with the sound. If you can't afford an expensive gaming computer, whether desktop or laptop, I think you will be happy with this. Now I am off to make Azeroth a better place

Nice desktop. Decent speed as is, but I upgraded a couple components within a few months of purchase. I maxed out the memory with 32 GB DDR4 (4 x 8MB) and added a SSD to cut boot time and help certain applications (Logos, Photoshop, Lightroom, and several games). It now boots up from the initial splash screen through login and ready to use in about 6 seconds! The included 1TB fusion drive is pretty fast, but I pimped the system out with a Samsung 850 Pro SSD. Although it has a 6th Gen Intel i5 Processor, this thing rocks! The included software is somewhat lacking, but for the money and upgrade capability, this PC is a good buy! Get the matching Lenovo 23" IPS LED HD monitor for the total package. It is crisp and clear, a beautiful display.

I am in love with my Lenovo Ideacentre 700 Desktop! not only is it great for multitasking and browsing the internet, but it is great for gaming. I love to play games and this desktop does the job with ease. I also love how you can upgrade the ram up to 32 GB, so I have already added 8 GB of ram to it and plan to add more up to the max. I bought this computer to replace an 8 year old ASUS PC. This is a fantastic PC. It starts up in less than 30 seconds. On my old PC I used to turn it on then go make a cup of coffee while it took 5 minutes to start. The processor is very fast and with 8 GB of memory it can multi task with no slow down. The computer is also very quiet. This is a nice change from my old computer where you heard the hard drive spinning all the time.

I spend a lot of time editing cat pictures for a local animal shelter, and I am so happy with the ease and speed I am able to do this. I love Windows 10. I would highly recommend this computer to anyone.

Amazing computer for the price, I would absolutely buy this product for myself or a friend again. The one thing to note when buying this is that there is a dedicated graphics card, when hooking up to the monitor if you do not plug into the graphics card you will not get any video signal. I think many people are not aware of this and tend to return this computer as a result. Start up time is FAST, shut down time is FAST, runs Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom very well. I look forward to using this product for a long time :)

This is a great home computer with lots of speed and storage. I do not play alot of graphic intensive games so the dedicated 2gig graphics card is more than adequate. I did order a 16 gig memory stick to replace the 8 gig it came with. Waited a week for it to arrive and it made the machine even faster. Got it on sale for $70 at Best Buy .com. If you plan any additional hardware upgrades I would recommend upgrading the power supply as well. Overall a good machine and with an inexpensive memory upgrade it becomes very fast.

So far, So good. I am pleased to have the versatility of a tower allowing for later upgrades. It comes with a graphics card installed, (not on board graphics). This allows for better streaming and compatibility with some of the later software(games). The only reason I did not give it the fifth star is that I look for dependability and I have had it less than a month. Still no issues, with time I hope it earns that fifth star.

Up and running on windows 10 with no issues. Minimal setup time. My wireless printer was found instantly. Everything worked. Much quieter than my last Dell. The fans are almost silent. In most routine tasks there is almost no hesitation when a command is entered. Click or "enter" and BAM, it's there or done. I was surprised since this processer is not that fast. But the total sum of all the parts is really quick. Very pleased. Well packaged and protected. Unusually so. Assembled in USA. Hurray! A lot of attention to detail in the finished product. It looks really good. I have no experience with Lenovo support so I can't comment on what to expect if you have issues. The only annoying part is no Display Port as advertised. Which means you can't stream 4K video. The video card is capable of supporting 4K but the HDMI creates a bottleneck. Our gamer is in college so no comment from the man/boy game player. He wanted at least a GTX 750 video card. If you are buying this for your kid to play games on then I would ask in advance. As far as video performance goes we have been streaming youtube stuff in 2K with fantastic results. I do not know if this video card can be upgraded. My sample had a preinstalled free trial of McAfee internet security. The free version of Avira has done a better job of detecting malware.
