Does this PC have room for a second HDD? null

It has room for a second HDD but no way to connect it up. There is no available SATA port (only two and they are used by the HDD and the disk drive) and there is no power connector for the second HDD.

Yes, I added an M.2 nvme SSD (several times faster than usual SATA SSDs), and highly enjoying the speed.

No, there is no open bay within this configuration.

It has room but there are no available connections. I was very disappointed.
