I only got the offer for 1 month Microsoft Office 365 when I started the computer. I spent an hour on the phone with 7 different Best Buy people and still didn't make any progress. Even though the page clearly states that it comes with one year free one of the Best Buy employees told me that it was probably a bait and switch situation! I don't understand why some people got 1 year as promised and others of us only 1 month. I've filed a complaint with BBB but haven't heard anything back yet.

In order to activate the Free 12 month subscription of Microsoft Office 365, you have to switch out of S Mode first. 
Then open the Word application and activate it. :) Should be pretty simple. Feel free to contact customer support. They're easy to work with.
