The computer comes with 8GB of RAM. 4 GB is soldered on to the motherboard, the other 4GB can be removed and upgraded. I read on another site that someone installed a 16GB stick to make it 20GB total. I know they recommend I think a maximum of 12GB. Google up Youtube and it will show you how easy it is to upgrade the ram and add another drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop, model number 81WE011UUS, has both. There is 4GB RAM soldered to the motherboard and there is a 4GB RAM stick within the one RAM memory slot within this configuration. This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. Your certified technician can replace the 4GB RAM stick with an 8GB RAM stick for s system total of 12GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM. We recommend you consult your certified technician about your upgrade options.
