Yes. You need to obtain a digital license. Having the digital license tied to your Microsoft account is a good idea, otherwise you may run into issues if you have to do a clean installation. You would have to do it as an upgrade through the Microsoft store for the best reliability. There are other ways to do it, and cheaper options, but that’s the best option for future issues.
