This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. This model number 81MV0001US, ships with 4GB RAM soldered to the motherboard. There is one open RAM memory slot that is compatible with up to an 8GB RAM stick, so your certified technician can add an additional 8GB RAM for a system total of 12GB RAM. We recommend you consult your certified technician for your upgrade options.
