• I researched this laptop before purchasing and had found from multiple sites that it contained a SATA hard drive bay. This particular variety purchased from Best Buy contains the physical space but no SATA connector is soldered to the board. (see attached photo) I could not find a way to add the hard drive bay without purchasing a whole new board. I will say I have no issues with the 256GB hard drive with multiple games installed including Overwatch, WoW, StarCraft II, Civilization VI, and a few others with half my space remaining. I am on the lookout for 500GB hard drives for the future though.

• This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. Your certified technician can add and additional hard drive to this configuration.
