Q: QuestionI def need clarification does this laptop ship with 8gb or 16gb of ram? Seems can’t get a straight answer? Also is ram solder, most laptops you can just add It. Also on Lenovo website adding ram on your own doesn’t void warranty that info is false. Thx

Q: QuestionThe screen resolution isn't the greatest (no 4K) if I used the HDMI to a 4K monitor will I be able to view 4K content at true 4K resolution?

• A:Answer Yes, you absolutely can. Don't count on playing games in 4K, but watching video content should work just fine assuming you have a 4K monitor / TV.

• A:Answer To be honest I was surprised by the missing card reader, but the Mini Display Port more than makes up for its omission. Connect this machine to a high refresh rate monitor and you will have a very competent gaming machine ready for anything you throw at it.

Q: QuestionWhat are my options for adding more internal storage to this Laptop? I'm afraid 256gb won't last long. Does it have a spot for another SSD or HHD?

• A:Answer I researched this laptop before purchasing and had found from multiple sites that it contained a SATA hard drive bay. This particular variety purchased from Best Buy contains the physical space but no SATA connector is soldered to the board. (see attached photo) I could not find a way to add the hard drive bay without purchasing a whole new board. I will say I have no issues with the 256GB hard drive with multiple games installed including Overwatch, WoW, StarCraft II, Civilization VI, and a few others with half my space remaining. I am on the lookout for 500GB hard drives for the future though.

Q: QuestionI read this gtx 1060 model has mini displayport. Would that actually work with a 144hz monitor, and output at 144hz? If so, I'm sold.

• A:Answer It does have a mini-dp and it totally works at 144hz. I bought the monitor mentioned in the review and it works flawlessly. "Lenovo Product Expert" is misinformed here.
