The wifi antenna inside the unit isn't spectacular in my opinion - so if it's already been activated and setup then I recommend physically moving the unit somewhere else where there isn't clutter, and closer to the wifi router. If you activated it (with the first app) and can't finish the setup (with the second app: google home), then you have two options. 1 - Try again, manually setting the wifi settings in the phone when instructed. 2 - exchange it asap. I bought two, and had to take one back. It fixed all my setup issues.
