• On the Tab 4, 10.1 you can use a Micro USB to HDMI ,MHL adaptor cable to connect to a newer TV. You can tell if this will work by checking the HDMI port on the TV for a MHL logo above it. If it has the MHL logo, you are ready to go. You can also "cast " to a newer smart TV with a Chromecast chip built in it.

• Does not have HDMI. A bluetooth dongle to your TV if your tv doesn't have bluetooth, with a 'cast' app might work. I haven't tried it.
