Lenovo
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tablet because I was upgrading from an older Lenovo I purchased three or four years ago. It has worked very well. I needed the space to download files for research.

Perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a 10 inch tablet from a different before this one and was absolutely miserable because the other tablet was woefully underpowered. This tablet is at the absolute opposite end of the spectrum. It is completely responsive with multiple tabs and applications open. The screen is crisp and bright with perfect graphics and the sound is acceptable.

It is a great tablet for basic day to day use.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great tablet for reading books or some basic apps. I really was looking for something to watch movies with when I travel for business. It is lacking in being able to download larger movie files but when I download from my phone onto an SD card it is able to be played on the tablet from the SD card. Graphics are good but not great.

Great BUDGET Tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tablet is great for what it is: A budget tablet. Don’t forget that. Yes, it’s a tablet that pushes the limit on specs that blur the line between budget and high-end. But in the end… it’s a budget tablet. With that in mind I rate it 4+ stars. I bought this tablet purely for light productivity purposes - emails, web browsing and late night/bedtime reading. Pros: - 10 inches under $200 - Screen quite good. It’s clear, sharp and vibrant. No, it’s no Samsung Galaxy Tab S screen, but then again $180 vs $450. Actually one con for me here is that the screen is super bright! I do a lot of night reading and browsing, and even if I turn the screen brightness all the way down, it’s still too bright. But that’s something I can live with. - Minimal bloatware – Hallelujah! – This is the primary reason I did not end up buying a Samsung Tablet. Their use of bloatware has gotten out of control. I even looked at Apple tablets, just to get around the Samsung bloat. - It’s pretty responsive and quick on videos and games. I have had no problems watching YouTube videos (as others have reported) and playing games has been smooth. As a reference, the only real game that I play is Hay Day, and it plays pretty smoothly (although the touchscreen sometimes acts up – see cons below). Either way, Hay Day runs smooth, and the battery holds up to this battery-hogging-game. - It’s light and well balanced. At first, I felt its weight/lightness was a negative, but after using it for a few weeks, I have come to see it as a plus/positive, especially in light of the quality feel that it has combined with the lightness. I have put a portfolio style case on mine. - Battery life is great so far – I get about 16 hours of total use, while 3 days of standby gets me to 40%. I use my tablet about 4 hours a day and 4 hours of tablet use, uses about 25% of battery. - Microsoft Office is pre-loaded (is this a pro or con?). I have used Word on this tablet and it works just fine, but there is no way to take advantage of this program without a separate keyboard (and mouse), neither of which I plan to purchase. - Wifi speed is just as good as any tablet that I have had. I have “standard” wifi in my home with up to 4 people using it on most occasions and I get no lag, etc on this tablet. Cons - In my opinion the speakers could use improvement. If you turn them all the way up, they get more than loud enough to fill a small room while watching a movie. My comparison is to my last Lenovo tablet ($400) which I only needed to turn up halfway to get room filling sound. Either way, the sound is more than adequate and again… $180 - The biggest true “con” (and why it get 4 stars from me): the touchscreen is definitely not responsive to the level that it should be. Simply put, about 50% of the time when I am browsing the web, I have to hit a link multiple times before the tablet reacts. Sometimes, it moves on the first touch, but a lot of times it takes multiple touches. Whether it’s $180 or not, this shouldn’t happen (my opinion). - Nitpicky con – the volume buttons and the on/off/wake button are on the left side /middle of the tablet. It’s a nitpick because I guess I got used to the buttons being on the right side and on the top. I will/can get used to the button location. All and all, it’s a great budget tablet that I highly recommend, based on my limited experience. I can say that if you expect high-end performance (speed, lag, response, screen, etc.) then you should get another tablet (and expect to pay at least double). Oh yeah... I bought 2 of them and they both are working well.

great budget tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own ipads but I wanted another tablet that was cheaper just for the sake of it. This tablet is great. It is 10 inches and it's super light. It is fast and the display is really nice. The speakers are pretty loud too and it has a lot of great apps as well. The battery life is excellent as it doesnt drain quickly. It doesn't overheat and the price is good for a tablet that does everything you need to do. Video quality is great too as it isn't laggy and also the display is nice.

Q: QuestionAfter reading the review of Jayb4015 certified buyer I am left with one concern. Jayb4015 mentions that the touch screen isn't very good; says must frequently touch the screen to active. I have arthritic hands. Is this touch screen really that bad?
Asked by Muffin.
- A:Answer Just to add some follow-up to my original post/review: The screen has gotten much more responsive in the time that I have had it. I don't know if it needed break-in time, or time to adjust or what, but It has gotten much better. It sometimes still requires double tapping, but I would say it's down to about 10-15% of the time versus my original statement of 50% of the time needing to multi-tap to get it to respond. And within that 10-15% of needing to multi-tap, it's hardly noticeable. All in all, as I previously stated, I would still recommend the tablet.

Q: QuestionCan the SD card be used as internal memory or is that feature turned off like Samsung did?
Asked by Oldguy.
- A:Answer I tried it after reading your question and yes it works, this is a great tablet! My former tablet was a Nvidia Sheild G2 which is top of the line, I compare this tablet to the Nvidia as far as power and speed. Not as open source as the Nvidia but just as great!! I have put it through the ringer and it hasn't even slowed down! It has force closed a couple of apps but I was really pushing it hard. For everyday use, I would buy again! I will post a proper review when I get time to do so. Enjoy your new tablet!!
