• Lenovo says it can be connected via HDMI, but I haven't tried it. However, it can also use Google's Chromecast to connect its display to your TV.

• The best way to connect the Tab 4, 10.1" is by casting to a newer smart TV with a Chromecast chip built in. You can use a MHL adapter with the Micro USB port.
