is the memory upgradable null

According to Lenovo, the RAM is accessible by removing the back cover, but it is not upgradable beyond what is supplied (4GB or 8GB I think are the only two options.) I suppose you could swap the RAM stick for another brand. Not sure what brand comes in the laptop from factory.
