I love my Lenovo Yoga 710! It is a great laptop with an unbeatable price (especially when they put it on sale.) It has a great feel. It doesn't feel cheap. The touch screen is responsive, and I haven't experienced any problems with it. It runs smoothly and the startup time is really fast (about seven to eight seconds.) This is because of the SSD. I really like the battery saver option. The battery life on this is about eight hours. It charges in about two or less while using it. Unlike its predecessor you can adjust the brightness of the backlit keyboard. That was a common complaint of the previous version. The only thing I didn't realize about this laptop was that it has a micro HDMI port, so I had to buy a new one to fit the laptop. Overall I have had no issues with this laptop and have had it for two months now. I use it about every day. You won't be disappointed.

Very happy with the purchase. Its light weight and fast. It has some cool features and powers on very quickly. Overall good product.

Since this is our 2nd Yoga they can't be too bad. Very light weight; thin; Was concerned about the hinge, not used much, but it seems to be holding up so far. The screen is a touch screen and a bit "bouncy" when you touch it. The 900 is a bit sturdier. Mainly liked for the price, compactness and weight.

I love the double hinge on this laptop to turn into a tablet. It is super lightweight so ideal for college student, but trade-off for that is no optical drive, which I haven't found myself in dire need of. If I do need one I can buy a USB powered optical drive. The shift key on the right side of the keyboard is super small compared to desktops or other laptops so it's been a little hard to get used to. As of Sept 2016, it's difficult to find specific accessories to this laptop; most important to me was keyboard cover, but was eventually able to find one after a few hours of searching online. I love that the keyboard has a backlight and the touchscreen has actually been handier than I would have thought. This laptop has been topnotch for traveling on airplanes simply because of it's double hinge and size. Overall for me, great little compact laptop for schoolwork, video interviews, photo editing, traveling, and watching videos.

I purchased this laptop for my freshmen year in college and I am so glad that I did. The speed of this laptop is amazing. Battery life is great (depends on usage). The touch screen and tablet mode makes tasks so much easier. This laptop is great for doing research, writing a paper, or simply to watch Netflix. Would recommend over and over again!

I like the Lenovo Yoga 710 2-in-1 as the size is right for me and its both a PC and a tablet. I like the speed of the solid state disk too. It is not too heavy and a lot of features for the money.

very pleased with this purchase. All the same criteria of a Macbook air (newest edition and processor) for a fraction of the price. plus the screen is touch screen in case you're into that. I am very happy I went back to the PC route as a former mac user and would recommend the same to anyone looking for a high performing new computer.

So far so good! This laptop is meeting all my expectations. Bought this for my wife and she just loves it. The touch pad is a bit of a pain for her but I've found that to be a problem (complaint) with all the newer laptops. The manufactures need to put in some extensive work on these things to make them more user friendly. Performance is good, graphics is find and the battery life is very good. Nice, thin & light. The only negative is the small SHIFT key on the right side of the keyboard. Figure something else out mechanical designers --- this is a boo-boo.

I bought this computer for my wife after her computer crashed. I can't comment on the tablet aspect of the computer as she does not use it. However, as a traditional laptop she couldn't be happier. The weight and size are perfect. The battery (so far) has been absolutely wonderful. Lasts all day Long. The one thing that I would caution buyers about is the shift key on the right side of the keyboard. It is half the size of a traditional shift key and is only this way on the right side. All in all this is a Lenovo and so far stands up to their reputation.

I am just a normal person, mostly wanting to use this laptop for school and just basic web browsing. The computer is sturdy, charges fast and does have about 8 hour battery life. The shift key placement is strange, but after only about a week of use, I'm used to it and it isn't a problem. I have not had any trouble with the touch screen and it switches to tablet mode quickly. I am very happy with my purchase and if you are anything like me you will be too!

I own a lot of computers/laptops and this is one of my favorites. Lightweight, fantastic screen resolution and excellent processing power in the i5 and SSD combo. Only negative I can say is the keyboard shift key on the right hand is outside the arrow key and is slightly aggravating for those of us that type quickly but Lenovo has a work around where you can change the arrow up key to be the shift key so that's not even a complaint. :)

Pros: - Nice design: Thin, narrow bezel (black edges around screen). - Can be used as a laptop or a tablet. - Reasonably priced. Cons: - Sometimes its fan kicks on and stays on for a long time while on websites with heavy ads/flash. - Cover is a little slippery. Be careful when holding it with wet hands. - The power-on button is on the side, so when carrying the laptop around (especially in table mode), it's easy to accidentally grab and push on it. I'd prefer the power button on the inside, by the keyboard; or just make it flushed with the edge.

I had this recommended to me. I enjoy it a lot. The touch screen is great and I use tablet mode a lot. The on screen keyboard is great. I love the versatility of this computer. If I need to use this as a regular laptop, I have full function, with Windows 10. All that and more in a lightweight, portable device. And, the size of this device is great. I recommend this laptop.

Perfect lightweight student laptop. Fast processing. Tablet mode is convenient and the battery holds a charge for a long time.

Had urgent need to buy a laptop and was overwhelmed with the options. Went to Best Buy since it carried all brands making it easier to compare products. Sales clerk spent almost an hour discussing features (SSD, i5 vs i7) that I should consider and then helped me to select this PC. Boots fast, touch screen is a great feature, resolution is good, noise of touchpad and keyboard meet my needs and the placement of shift key on right is not an issue. Only problem encountered to date is trying to locate and use the "novo" button to enter the Bios menu to disable the hotkeys so the I could use the function keys without have to hit the function button when working in Excel. Had to resolve going in person to Geek Squad (could not resolve over phone) - turns out you need a paper clip or similar object to place in the extremely tiny hole to trigger the novo button - the users guide should indicate such - I just didn't see the hole - it looked a part of the label it was so small. Great value for the price paid and even got an additional $100 the next day when I saw it went on sale and went back to the store and they honored their price match guarantee without any hassle.

Love the size, touchscreen, battery life and the fact that I can use it as a tablet when I want. Only con is the weight, seems kind of heavy for such a small thi device.

This laptop is very fast, quiet, and light. It is perfect for anyone to bring it to school and work as well. The touch screen is not perfect compared to other touchscreen things by apple. It is relatively good to use.

I bought this to replace an older, heavier laptop and I am very pleased with it. I really enjoy the large clear images on the screen. It's very light weight & easy to carry. I like the feel of the keys and the touch pad is easy to use.

I'm enjoying my new laptop. It is lightweight and the keyboard is very comfortable. I do have trouble with the right shift key as it is quite a stretch to reach it. Other than that, I say It's great.

The yoga is great for students. The ssd gives it fast boot times along with being quieter. The metal does make it a little heavier but it feels premium compared to plastic laptops. The 14" screen in a 13" laptop size is a great feature. It causes a thinner bezel and better looking computer. Touchpad works great. Keyboard is decent for a laptop but it does have blacklisting which will come in handy if you need to study in the dark. This computer isn't going to play any games or do any heavy workloads but it is great for students. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the keyboard and the fact that it has a mini hdmi instead of a full hdmi and it lacks a USB-c/thunderbolt port.
