Yes. The processor will automatically boost itself up to a max of 3.2gHz if needed.

It does have a base speed of 1.2GHz with a boost speed of up to 3.2GHz. The boost speed is not user controlled. The processor throttles up to the maximum boost speed as needed based on workload to the processor.
