No it is not. A certified technician can replace the battery if needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It seems the new ultra-thin models are a bit more complicated in battery replacement. The last laptop I had was from around 2011 and it was just a matter of disengaging the old one and snapping a new one into place. Not the case anymore. I have seen instructions for battery replacement, and it seems rather involved and might void any warranty left on the unit. I intend to have the Geeks replace mine when the time comes. I'm very happy with the Yoga 710. It is unbelievably fast. I count 20 seconds from start-up to internet.
