A:AnswerThat is the default Energy Efficiency configuration. If you push the Energy Efficiency button, the clock will display again; when the microwave is idle for 5 min the display will turn off. A:AnswerIf the video said that it is wrong. The installation manual says it needs to be 30-in from bottom of cabinet (above microwave) to the cooking surface, NOT bottom of microwave to the cooking surface. My micro is 15" above the cooking surface, FWIW.
A:AnswerYes, you can absolutely use an LED bulb. The halogen just runs too hot and when mine burned out I simply replaced it with an LED bulb for $5. High and low setting's work fine.
