If what you are referring to as the "dust collector" is the drain pump filter, if you look at the images of the LG 2.4 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Smart Front Load Washer and Electric Dryer Combo with Steam and Sensor Dry - White, Model # WM3555HWA, you will notice the drain pump filter access cover located in the bottom right corner of the washer.
The washer fails to drain if the drain pump filter is clogged, so to prevent clogging with foreign objects like lint, you will need to open the drain pump filter cover and clean the drain pump filter periodically...^Ivan.
