“Does this refrigerator run loud? I have an open concept home...noise is a big deal. Is the stainless steel version fingerprint resistant? Thanks”

We recently purchased this refrigerator and were excited by it. Unfortunately the first unit that was installed have a very loud compressor and we ended up having it swapped out for another unit which runs perfectly! It is very quiet and many times you don't even know it's running. So the first unit must have just been a fluke. It is not truly fingerprint resistant but it is much, much better than the previous stainless steel refrigerator we had. We also "processed" the refrigerator ourselves to help prevent fingerprints. So far so good!

One of its best features. I have children and used to spend a lot of time cleaning and buffing out my old fridge. No longer needed with this LG!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Very loud! Had it replaced within a few days because I couldn't take the sound. The second replacement ran loud. Kept it anyways. Now the compressor needs replacement after 5 years.
