The height of the refrigerator to the top is only 68.88 inches. The additional height (70.25 inches) is to the top of the door hinges. Since this fridge is deeper than typical base cabinets, the higher portion is out away from my upper cabinets.

The listed height of 68 7/8" to the top of the LG - Door-in-Door 29.9 Cu. Ft. 4-Door French Door Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless Steel, Model # LMXS30776S's case and that for the unit to the top of the door hinges of 70 1/4" are measurements for the unit with the leveling legs at their lowest setting, but even if you were able to move it down an inch, you still need an inch clearance on the top for proper air flow for the unit...^IFV

I do not think the height can be adjusted, it is set. The "leg" on it is somewhat adjustable, but only meant to help with the unevenness of some floors. And then only by so much.
