There may be. However, the WM3977HWA works exactly as advertised. It is certainly a different type of clothes dryer than the usual blower exhausted tumble dryers. We read the manufacturers instructions and our clothes are drying well and in an appropriate timeframe. The time required for drying is directly related to the load size and type of clothes being laundered. My socks, briefs and cotton t-shirts normally wash and dry in less than two hours. And I don’t have to move the clothes from a washer to a dryer. Also, a load of bedsheets and pillow cases can be loaded in the morning and they are ready to make the bed or put in the cabinet after returning home that afternoon. A truly wonderful appliance when operated in accordance with the instructions.
