“Is this unit safe just the way it comes when it comes to no floor scratching or should I take precautions to add something to the feet to prevent that from happening?”

I would be very careful. Make sure the unit is installed by Best Buy and make sure to stipulate your issue with floor scratching and get it in writing. My contractor installed mine a few days ago. It violently shakes in the spin cycle and is INCREDIBLY loud. I believe my unit is defective and am working with LG to get a replacement. Good Luck

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My unit was delivered 2 days ago and it was a nightmare. While it seems to be working fine, it's dented and the delivery people damaged my newly finished stairs, dirtied the walls, etc. To say the least, I'm very upset. It's a brand new home, we haven't even moved in yet. I contacted Best Buy and they offered me a discount on the price of the washer and dryer or an exchange. Unfortunately, I settled for the discount as I didn't want to risk the damage being twice as bad considering they would have to remove the old unit first then bring a new one in. I have also filed a claim with Best Buy for the damage to the home. Waiting to hear back on that.
