Q: QuestionIf you vent this on the side, can the unit be pushed back further to the wall? I need about 2 more inches to fit this unit in a closet area. There is plenty of side ventilation.

• A:Answer You will need the clearance for the water hoses on the washer. Proper clearance warrants clearance for water inlet hoses, drain hose and airflow, allow minimum clearances of at least 1'' (2.5 cm) at the sides and 4" (10 cm) behind the appliance. Be sure to allow for wall, door, or floor moldings that may increase the required clearances. ^Daphane

Q: QuestionNot interested in running my machines from phone. Is it possible to do everything from just the center control panel and leave wifi out of it? Also, I know it has a lot of "smart" capabilities where it decides settings. Can I override/do what I want?

• A:Answer The drain hose is supplied and connected to the unit. Connect the drain hose to either a standpipe or laundry tub. Do not install the drain hose with the end lower than 29.5 inches (75 cm) or higher than 96" above the bottom of the washer or more than 60" away from the washer. ^Daphane

Q: QuestionMy condo laundry closet space, entrance width is 28" (maybe slightly less than 28") and height is 80". But once you pass the entrance, inside of closet has 33.5" width and 95" height. My concern is would this unit will pass the entrance?

Q: Questiondoes the gas dryer need a 120 volt receptacle for ignition?

• A:Answer The gas dryer does NOT need a 240 cord. It has its own 120 cord to power the motor and the electronics. Very little load. So, yes, 120v outlet for dryer plus 120v outlet for washer.

• A:Answer Yes, the washer and dryer can be operated at the same time. There is a gas dryer version which can be converted to LP. A bit below the price there is a "Dryer Heating Source" drop down where you can choose "gas".
