yes the dryer is very quiet and plays a song when finished it's cycle.

I find both the washer and dryer very quiet--quiet enough to be on a phone call in the same room even while both are running. The action of the clothes tumbling in the drums makes the most noise, especially when there are clothes with zippers or metal buttons.
