“Can this unit be easily detached so it can fit through doors etc as it makes its way towards the closet?”

• It is a single unit, not 2 stackable units. Having said that, the installers from Best Buy had no problem getting it through the front door and into the closet

• The washtower can be disassembled to facilitate moving. Please see the support page at https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-WKGX201HBA.ABLEEUS and select "Find Manuals & Documents". Refer to page 29 of the installation manual for Disassembly instructions. ^Daphane
