• Hi Mlonne. Regrettably, the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 4.5 cu. ft. Ultra Large Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Front Load Washer, Model # WM3700HWA does not feature a Magnetic Door Plunger that holds the door open when the washer is not running, and allows the door and tub seal to dry which prevents mold and mildew from building up. It is recommended that you wipe the door and the inside of the door seal to remove any moisture after each wash and leave the door open to allow the drum o air dry. Over time, residue may build up in the drum, leading to mildew or a musty odor. Run the Tub Clean cycle monthly to remove residue and prevent odor. Run the cycle more often under heavy use conditions or if odor is already present...^IFV

• Yes I also wipe dry after use especially door and rubber seal and leave door open till dry and no problem with smell.
