QuestionDoes this model have a “water plus” option for any cycles? I always run my towels on a rinse and spin cycle with water plus to remove soap residue. It makes a huge difference and I don’t see that option on this washer.

- Answer Hello, DmWW. There is no way to determine how much lint you will get with each wash in the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 4.5 cu. Ft. Capacity Smart Front Load Energy Star Washer with TurboWash® 360° and AI DD® Built-In Intelligence, Model # WM5500HVA, or in any other washing machine, regardless of brand or manufacturer. Lint is formed by tiny, loose fibers that detach from various fabrics during wear and washing. These fibers can be natural (like cotton or wool) or synthetic (like polyester or nylon). Wool clothing is notorious for producing lint. New clothes often have short, loose fibers that haven’t fully settled within the fabric. These fibers are easily shed during the initial washing process, contributing to more lint. Wash new items separately for the first few washes...^Ivan.

- Answer Just need the hoses and clamps, maybe the hose to the dryer if you want the steam option. Oh and the power cord if you dont already have one.

QuestionMy current lg washer (2008)has only 4” clearance behind it and sadly it’s time to replace it. It worked amazingly! The newest model is now 30.25 deep and my old one was 29” deep. Is that ok? It’s a closet and I am locked into a max depth space of 33”

- Answer Just touch the temperature and it will cycle through the temperature you wish to use. Note that some of the cycles only allow certain temperatures and the machine won’t let you change to a temperature it isn’t programmed for.
