• The washer does have an Unbalanced Error. Typical reasons are the load is too small; heavy articles are mixed with lighter items or the load is out of balance and contents need to be manually redistribute if articles have become tangled, preventing the automatic rebalancing from working properly. ^Daphane

• The washer has a sensor that checks the balance before washing. I've had my washer for over a week and no unusual noise.
