Hello there, Murphy. Thank you for reaching out. If your LG dryer (Model: WKEX300HBA) continues running but the LED turns off, there are a few potential reasons for this behavior. First, it’s possible that the dryer is experiencing an interrupted power supply. Check if the power is consistently supplied and whether there are any issues with the electrical connection. Another common reason could be small loads. If you're drying a small load, the dryer might not detect the load properly, causing the cycle to end prematurely. You can try adding a few more items or select a Speed Dry or Timed Dry cycle to see if that helps. It’s also worth checking if there is any residue on the sensors that could prevent proper load detection. You can clean the sensors gently with a soft cloth. Lastly, performing a hard reset might resolve the issue. To do this: Unplug the dryer. Press and hold the START/PAUSE button for 5 seconds, then press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button for 5 seconds. Plug the dryer back in and see if the issue persists.
