The heat pump heats the laundry to dry it, while cooling the resulting humid air, causing the water to precipitate out as liquid into a catch basin, which is then pumped out through the washer drain line. So there is no humid air released anywhere.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unit air is sealed inside and uses a compressor, like a dehumidifier, to remove moisture which is then pumped out via the drain. Room temperature and humidity is unaffected.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The clothes WILL be damp when removed from the unit, so YES there will be humidity added to your room. Yes most of the water used will be condensed and pumped away, but unfortunately with this type of ventless drying, they still have not worked out getting the clothes DRY at the end like a vented dryer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there! Thank you for taking the time in asking us this question. This WM6998HBA uses a ventless condensing system, which means it does not require an external vent to expel hot air. Instead, it condenses the moisture from the clothes into water, which is then collected in a reservoir or drained out. ^Anthony
