Thank you for your interest in the LG Front Load Washer (WM3470CW) model. The LG WM3470CW washing machine is not compatible with the pedestal for the LG WM2801HWA. The design and dimensions of the two machines and their respective pedestals are different, so the WM3470CW will not fit on the pedestal for the WM2801HWA. Therefore, it is not possible to use the existing pedestal for the new washing machine.
