“Do this washer have a area the gives access to the lint, hair or small trash that gets through and filters before getting to the pump? If so is that the door at the bottom on the left side? Another question is will I be able to clean it out myself?”

Yes, yes, and it depends . . . . The door at the bottom left gives you access to drain a special hose and pull out a small filter to clean. These are easy to use if your washer is on the pedestal. Without the pedestal, it was nearly impossible.

It is recommended that you clean the filter periodically to prevent clogging with foreign objects.
