Its a newer model. The silver is 2016 model. They changed it for the 2017 model. Magnolia guy at Best Buy said not much changed between model years except casing color and software but that there will probably be a software update for the 2016 model at some point. In my opinion it's not worth it to pay the extra unless you just have money to burn.
