Auto light dimming is controlled by the Energy Saving feature. Go to Settings/Picture/Energy Saving and turn it off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can get the picture setup properly by adjusting the picture options. For cable TV (or any non-4k source) I have OLED Light and Contrast set to 80 and brightness at 54, and very important, make sure you have Energy Saving shut off, that will dim the image if it is on, which is the factory default so you have to go in and set it to Off. That one change made a huge difference in getting non-4k sources to have white ice in hockey and just an ideal brightness/contrast setting for any non-4k source.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I stream hockey games through the NHL app on my 4K AppleTV, displayed on a 55" C7. I think the ice looks pretty accurate in color to me.
