“Geek Squad warranty says in-home repair if manufacture warranty had in-home repair. How does LG handle warranty service during first year? Thanks.”

Definetly buy geek squad warranty. It saved me from a $900 service an part call. Turns out my Sony 900c tv 55" fried out at two years. I bought in 2015 an went out in less than 2years. I paid for 5yr plan. Tech came out stayed an put parts in an alas it never worked again. Corp office gave me back almost as much money as I paid in store credit so I jumped up to Oled. One thing. If you hang tv yourself,you have to take it down for them to work on it. Hope this helps you.
