From what I understand, cosmetics and the e7 has a built in soundbar. The e7 also has the oled panel closer to the glass. All 2017 lg oleds use the same panels and processors, whether you get a b7 or w7, you will get the same picture quality.

The integrated sound bar will not get you A+ full surround sound but it will get you a quality sound. I got the 55C7 with SJ9 sub and sound bar. Both the SJ9 sub and bar combo and the E7 come with Dolby Atmos (premium quality sound).

C7 or E7, the internal speaker on a TV, they are limited -- but the E7 is an upgrade. IMHO go with a (1) separate sound bar or (2) send all your device audio to a receiver and multiple speaker system.
