“I attached the base/pedestal/foot to the bottom of the screen, then placed the assembled TV set on a stand. But my stand is narrower than the base. The front part of the base extends about 5” beyond either side of the stand. Will there be any problems?”

• Yes, won’t be stable. Get a new stand. This is an expensive set.
