• No, you don’t have to have internet service to watch tv with this tv. You can use your Direct TV, or any other satellite or cable provider to watch tv with it. You can also connect a DVD player or a Blu-ray player to it and watch that also. The internet portion of the TV is optional to the best of my knowledge.
