“Will this dryer fit in a laundry closet? I love the idea of this dryer and matching washer but my laundry closet is only 32 1/2 inches deep. If I use a telescoping vent, is there any way this dryer can work in that space?”

It could, I needed about 32 inches of depth for this dryer and that includes space to run the vent hose behind it.

Ft. 14-Cycle Ultralarge-Capacity Steam Electric Dryer, Model # DLEX5680W has a depth of 28 3/8" (50 1/4" H with door open). The recommended installation spacing for the back is 5" so your Dryer will stick out a little (i.e. 7/8" or 0.825")...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can purchase a kit from homedepot to do that. My husband and I had to do a lot of fancy works to deal with the vent. Our vent went into the garage so that was a lot of work around to get it in.
